A run begins the moment you forget you are running.
When you’re young, you begin to learn about the importance of exercising and its many benefits on your health. Running is a great way that many people of different ages choose to incorporate into their daily routines! Running is also known to be a great cardio workout, and you can set a goal for how long you’d like to run for (i.e. 30 minutes, 90 minutes, etc.), or your goal might be to run a specific number of many miles (i.e. 3 miles, 5 miles, etc.). It’s simple to go out for a run, all you need is to throw on a pair of sneakers or running shoes, and perhaps bring some water and music with you, so that you can stay focused throughout your workout. However, if you don’t like to run, you can always jog or walk, which are all fantastic ways to exercise and get some fresh air too!
You can run with a runner’s club that will most likely have serious runners, a friend or two, or alone (if you feel safe). You have to be careful if you’re running alone because there are many cases that people have gotten followed, or worse has happened to them. We recommend that if you’re going for a run outside, try to go when there is sunlight outside! However, if you feel the need to go for a run when it’s dark outside make sure to wear reflective gear and you shouldn’t wear all dark clothes- you want drivers of automobiles to see you to avoid possibly hurting or hitting you. It’s important that you take precautions when you’re running outside on bike or running paths, on main or side roads, and when you’re crossing the street! We stress that you pay attention to what’s going on around you while you’re running, even if you’re in what you think is a safe area.
If you really enjoy running, and you’d like to support a cause, there are lots of races and marathons across the U.S. that you can choose to compete in with your family and friends. You can run, walk, or jog a 5K race, half marathon, or even a full marathon! We’re passionate about running, and participating in races to raise money and awareness for different organizations in the United States, and we have competed in a number of races. We strive to put our energy and efforts into helping others learn about how running can improve their health, and it benefits others by raising money and awareness for very important causes.
After graduating from college and entering the workforce, you will most likely find yourself having less time in the day to do certain activities that you love, such as exercising, playing sports, running, etc. However, many people try to make time in their hectic schedules to hit up the gym before work, after work, or during their lunch break. Whether or not you belong to a gym, you can always go running! We like to switch it up, so we run outside and indoors, depending on the weather. We suggest that you invest in some great running shoes, such as Asics, Nike shoes, etc., so that your feet will have great support and won’t be in pain, and you’ll have the best running experience.
